Subtle carbon application in acoustic guitars

Slowly but surely, drones are – figuratively speaking – taking over the world. By now many are familiar with the lightweight and supersonically fast drones deployed by the government and defense, or the pleasure drones that can be used to capture beautiful vacation images. Prince Fibre is working with a drone developer of a very different caliber: Drone4, part of the Osse Equipment Manufacturing Group. Drone4 designs and assembles megadrones for logistics, agriculture, relief and other industries. Prince Fibre was able to make a nice contribution to the Drone 4-70, which can transport up to 75 kilograms autonomously.

Drones of the future

Drone4 is building an innovative future for its megadrones. The impressive drones are being developed under four separate sections: Drone4Emergency, Drone4Agro, Drone4FireFighting and Drone4Logistics. Among the latter, the prototype of the Drone 4-70 was produced. Prince Fibre provided carbon tubes with outer walls 50 and 80 millimeters thick for the development of this drone’s frame.

Carbon is ideally suited for drone and aero applications due to the material’s lightweight and high rigidity. Although the drone itself weighs only 25 kilograms, it can carry up to 75 kilograms of payload. Recently, the prototype of this megadrone was certified by the Inspectorate of the Environment and Transport (ILT). This means that the Drone 4-70 may now actually take to the air and be developed further. The first goal is to increase flight time from about 15 minutes to 20 minutes.

Collaboration drone4

Drone4 has been a valued customer of Prince Fibre for 7 years. We stand for innovation and development and enjoy contributing to innovations in the market. From both sides, the cooperation is considered very pleasant. We always strive to be assertive when it comes to advice and service, which is another reason for Drone4 to continue its cooperation. New developments are coming soon for Drone4 in which Prince Fibre hopes to actively support them. Prince Fibre is very proud to contribute to the potential and therefore future prospects of megadrones.
