Favorable for medical solutions

The carbon profile has the unique property of being invisible to X-rays. This property is often used especially in the medical field.

Applying X-rays

In case of a bone fracture, it is possible to apply a carbon splint. With X-rays, the profile is invisible and thus full attention is paid to the bone fractures. This makes it possible to continue monitoring the healing of the fracture without having to remove the splint.

Incidentally, composites are used for several medical applications. The advantages of carbon and fiberglass are their strength and durability. In addition, there are no metals in these, so they cannot cause allergic reactions. The material is further easy to clean or make sterile again. The medical world demands from its suppliers so-called tracibility of the raw materials and production processes used. A trajectory with which we at Prince Fibre are well familiar.
