Applicable in any weather condition

Composite is well suited to be exposed to different weather conditions. both fiberglass and carbon have a lower coefficient of expansion, than, say, steel, making it resistant to temperature changes. This makes a composite profile more versatile than traditional materials.

Sustainable solution

Because of its low coefficient of expansion, the material hardly expands at all when in contact with warmer temperatures. In addition, shrinkage due to cold is minimal. This low coefficient of expansion results in a very small chance of the material cracking or breaking. Hence, fiberglass profiles are increasingly in use in the maritime sector, and carbon profiles can also function very well as flag holders or flagpoles.
