Subtle carbon application in acoustic guitars

When an acoustic guitar is played, the colour sound of the instrument depends to a large extent on the wood on which the strings are strung. Since wood is a natural, unpredictable product, guitar manufacturers make every effort to make the changeable nature of the sound as consistent and predictable as possible. Furch Guitars uses a CNR system to ensure that the sound of their acoustic guitars is very stable. The CNR system is fixed in the fretboard of the guitar and consists of an adjustable fretboard pin that is placed in a thin-walled Prince Fibre carbon housing. This fretboard pin causes the wood to behave very predictably and any guitarist can achieve enormous precision when playing.
