Carbon fibre profiles
Our carbon profiles
The strength of carbon lies in the combination between lightweight and high stiffness. At Prince Fibre we offer different carbon profiles. Ideal for replacing traditional materials such as steel and aluminium.
At the start of the production process are the carbon fibres. These fibres are impregnated with resin, after which they are pulled through a heated die. The curing takes place in the die. The resin stiffens and the profile takes on its final shape. After this, the profiles are cut on length, and then the final quality control takes place.
Prince Fibre is one of the few producers of pultruded carbon profiles on the European market. Since 1985 we have been active in the development and production of high-quality, fibre-reinforced composite profiles. Our products are used in various industries such as, sporting goods, machine building, yacht building, automobile, construction and in aerospace.
We supply a large number of standard profiles directly from stock. Varying from solid bars, strips to round and square tubes; these are available in diameters between 2 and 80 mm. For the inner and outer diameter, tolerances of ± 0.2 mm are used. Standard profiles are available in the lengths 1,000, 2,000 and 6,000mm. Different lengths are also available on request. In consultation with our customers, we are capable of developing customized profiles, suited for the customers’ specific application.
